Breaking the Silence

Mwenya & 499 Other Girls

Menstrual Health Education

When Mwenya, a 14-year-old from Kitwe, joined our program, she knew nothing about menstrual health. In a room of 500 girls, she learned to make reusable sanitary pads, track her cycle, and speak openly about a topic once whispered behind closed doors. Today, she teaches her younger sisters and neighbors, ensuring girls stay in school every day of the month.
